Kanye West has been accused of showing an “inexcusable level of stupidity and cruelty” after making insensitive remarks about Parkinson’s disease on the opening track of his new album Yeezus.

The track titled On Sight has a line in it which goes: "we get this b*tch shaking like Parkinsons".

The Chief Executive of Parkinson's UK, Steve Ford has spoken out about his dismay at the insensitive lyrics in a statement saying: "Kanye West has shown an inexcusable level of stupidity and cruelty towards people living with an incurable condition.

"Life with Parkinson's is difficult enough without becoming fodder for insensitive celebrities, who should know better, looking for their next big hit."

He then went on to condemn West even further by saying: "This sort of thoughtless, callous comment can only serve to make things even worse for [Parkinson’s sufferers]."

West has previously spoken about his new album and the production of it claiming that it is "all about giving no f**ks at all."

He also claimed that he just wanted to make the best record he possibly could so chances are he won’t be too worried about Ford’s comments.
