Rumours have started circulating that Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran are dating.

Gomez finally called it quits with her ex Justin Bieber last year citing his immaturity as the reason for their split.

The pair met through mutual friend Taylor Swift who Sheeran is currently touring with and according to sources, they hit it off immediately.

When quizzed about the alleged partnership, Sheeran confessed that he wouldn't complain if he and Gomez were to get together.

The source said that Selena is attracted to Ed because he is mature for his age.

"She got sick of having to take care of Justin like he was her child,' they said.

'This is a nice escape from the drama."

It has also been rumoured that Justin has moved on and is now dating Miley Cyrus although she denies this claim because she is engaged.

The source continued to explain that Selena has no interest in Justin’s love life.

"[Selena and Justin] are totally done . not even hooking up anymore," another insider revealed.

"They are friends with an open mind. [Ed's] sensitive and sweet and a lot deeper than Justin."
