Robin Thicke has finally been knocked off the number one spot after being there for four weeks.

I Love it by Icona Pop managed the feat after a lot of exposure from being featured on the latest advert for the Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone and has managed to sell an astounding 125,000 copies in the past week.

It marks the 11th week in a row that a number one single has sold over 100,000 copies which is the longest streak since way back in 1998.

Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines feel to number two but still did well in terms of sales, selling an additional 110,000 copies and bringing the total to 829,000.

Elsewhere in top 10, Will.i.am leapt 39 places to number 3 with Bang Bang which was helped somewhat by the fact that he performed the song on last week’s finale of The Voice.

The Wanted struggled to number 4 with their latest single Walks Like Rihanna but still sees them achieve their eighth top five single.

Naughty Boy concludes the top 5 with the song La La La.
