Kanye West has been announced as the suspect in an attempted robbery investigation, it has been revealed.

The rapper was snapped attacking a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday afternoon and was seen punching the man whilst also trying to take his camera.

Now, gossip website TMZ has revealed that Los Angeles Robbery Homicide Unit are putting together a file on the incident and have named West as the prime suspect in the incident.

The case will then be put forward to a county district attorney who will decide whether or not to press charges against West.

According to witnesses who were there at the time of the incident, West “grabbed the man by the shoulders, punched him and tried to wrestle the camera from his hands” he then rammed “his foot on the photographer's face”.

Although the photographer is known to have sustained injuries from the incident, his exact condition is not known at the moment.

Immediately after the incident, West apparently left with his body guard so that by the time the authorities arrived on the scene, the rapper was nowhere to be found.
