Factor alumni Rylan Clark is working on new music with Basshunter the DJ has revealed.

Basshunter revealed that the two of them met up after they performed at the same show. He told Metro: "He was doing gigs in Mallorca and I live there”

"We performed in the same club. He's a cool guy. I'm producing some songs for him.

"When he's performing he does medleys - people love him, he's so entertaining but he needs his own tracks. I don't know if it's going to work out, but we'll see how it goes."

During the interview, Basshunter was asked what he thought about Rylan’s voice which was famously criticised during his time on the X Factor.

Bashunter responded by saying: "He doesn't have the best voice in the world, but neither do I. If you don't have the best voice then you shouldn't do complicated singing.

"The 'Gangnam Style' guy doesn't have a voice either, but it still works. Do something simple everyone can sing along to. Rylan has such a lively personality, something like that would work perfectly."
