Taylor Swift Chips Tooth at Concert
- in Latest
Taylor Swift has revealed that she managed to chip her tooth after “uppercutting” herself onstage at a live show recently.
Swift is currently in the middle of her Red tour and was performing in Pittsburgh when the incident allegedly happened.
According to Swift herself, she brought the microphone up to her mouth whilst performing her hit single I Knew you Were Trouble and ended up smacking herself in the mouth and causing the damage to one of her front teeth.
Swift spoke about the incident in an interview with Rolling Stone and said: "Tonight I was particularly hung up on not chipping another tooth like last show in Pittsburgh, definitely. It had a tip on [the tooth] and it doesn't anymore. I try to be really quick with the microphone, so I'm not standing there just waiting to sing with my mic right next to my face, so I really quickly pulled my mic up to sing and basically uppercut punched myself in the tooth."
Swift was left red-faced recently after having to cancel a meet and greet competition because of a campaign on website 4chan to get a “fat old guy called Charles” to win.
