Tulisa Contostavlos has won the title of celebrity with the worst hair in 2013.

A survey was carried out by hair car online retailer fabriah.com to find out who the public deemed as having the worst barnet and unfortunately for her, Tulisa came out on top with 32% of the votes.

Bad, scruffy extensions and poor dye jobs are said to have helped contribute to the former X Factor judge claiming the title.

American actress Amanda Bynes came in second place with 20% of the votes after sporting her untidy blonde wig.

Waterloo Road actress Chelsea Healey completed the top 3 with 14% of the votes.

Other stars that were in the top 10 include former Mr Katy Perry Russell Brand who is infamous for his untidy bird’s nest.

Joey Essex also made it in the top 10 with one respondent to the survey saying: “In my opinion Joey Essex has horrible hair, he tries so hard with it as well which almost makes matters worse because it doesn't look any good.

I see so many young boys trying to replicate his hair style and I just wonder why anyone would want their hair to look that silly.”
