Google launched their music streaming service Google Play Music All Access today in an attempt to entice users away from existing services such as Spotify.

Surprisingly and unlike its rivals including Spotify and Deezer, there will be no free option to use the service meaning that anyone who does want to use it will have to pay a flat rate of £9.99 a month of £7.99 for those who sign up before September 15th

Paul Joyce, Google Play Music's product manager released a statement saying: "With today's launch, Google Play moves one step closer to your ultimate digital entertainment destination, where you can find, enjoy and share your favourite apps, games, books, movies, magazines, TV shows and music on your Android phone or tablet."

The service will be able to offer users a huge catalogue of music to choose from and also has a feature which means that users will be able to store up to 20,000 songs from their own existing digital music collection. This means that potentially an entire music collection could be accessible on the go as it will all be accessible through the Google Play app.
