Michelle Obama to Release Hip Hop Album

US first lady Michelle Obamba is to spear head a new hip-hop album aimed at improving the health of Americans.

Although she won’t actually be singing or rapping on the album herself, it is thought that she will appear in a number of music videos to accompany the album which will then be distributed and shown in schools across America.

 

It is hoped that is will make young Americans more aware of the health risks of a poor diet.

 

A number of high profile names will be appearing on the 19-track album which is scheduled for release in September including Ashanti, Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels of Run-DMC, Jordin Sparks and Travis Barker of Blink-182.
