Justin Bieber has been attacked at a nightclub in Toronto it has been reported.

The singer was partying in the Canadian city with his entourage at around 3AM when the incident happened.

The problem occurred when Bieber left the VIP area of the club and entered into the crowd.

Gossip website TMZ has obtained photos of one of the revellers charging a stunned looking Bieber just before his people rushed to his defence and prevented Bieber himself from lashing out at the assailant.

The attacker was swiftly escorted out of the venue and it was deemed unnecessary to involve the police.
