Barry White Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Barry White has been awarded a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the 2506the to be awarded.
Founder of Motown Berry Gordon appeared on behalf of Barry White who suffered kidney failure and died back in 2003.
Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies said in a statement: “People can't get enough of Barry White's music and even though he passed away many years ago, his songs will live on in the hearts of many.
“'We are honoured to have Barry White, his legendary voice and timeless songs immortalized on the Walk of Fame.”
White was best known for his trademark deep voice which he put to many hits in the 70s including You’re the First, The Last, My Everything.
Other stars that will be receiving the same honour as white and will be getting their own Hollywood Walk of Fame stars include Orlando Bloom, Matthew McConaughey, Liam Neeson, Katy Perry and Tupac Shakur.
