Lady Gaga has parted ways with her manager Troy Carter.

Carter has been attached to Gaga since before she became so widely known and is credited as being a major contributing factor in her rise to fame.

It is thought that the pair parted ways over “creative differences” though it hasn't been revealed what that exactly entails.

Critics had slammed a recent performance by Gaga of her new song Dope, saying that it was "deeply strange and out of tune" but it now seems that the tearful performance was largely due the current situation.

Gaga’s new album is to be released next week.
