Lady Gaga is planning to be the first artist to perform in space, it has been revealed.

The pop star, famed for her outrageous performance antics wants to be the first artist to perform in space and her wish could be coming true in 2015 when a Virgin Galactic ship is thought to be carrying her into space.

It is thought that the performance will happen as part of the Zero G Colony festival, a three-day festival which celebrates the very latest in cutting-edge technology.

Gaga’s voyage will take place on the third day of the event and will take her and her team of stylists into zero gravity.

An insider said: "[It will be] like nothing the world has seen before," but added "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere."
