Simon Cowell has revealed that he would like to be Zayn Malik’s best man for his upcoming nuptials.

The One Direction star recently got engaged to Perrie Edwards of Little Mix and although Cowell has admitted that he is aware that Malik is more likely to choose one of his band mates to be best man, he would still like to be involved in the ceremony in some way.

When asked directly if he would like to be best man, Simon replied “now that you mention it, yes. So I’m probably going to be very disappointed!”

Perrie has spoken of her excitement saying: “I actually wanted to have quite a small wedding, but then all the girls in my family are desperate to come and would like to be bridesmaids, too.

It’s going to be like the movie 27 Dresses where the bride has like a billion bridesmaids.”
