Charlie Simpson was reportedly paid a six-figure sum as part of the Busted and McFly reunion.

Since he quit Busted, Simpson has tried to distance himself from the Busted name, focusing at the time on his band Fightstar and more recently on his solo career.

Although he won’t be joining the rest of the members of Busted and McFly as part of the reunion, he did make sure that the other two members had bought him out of his share of the band.

The agreement was said to be amicable with Simpson keen to focus on his solo career and leaving the other two members to take part in the reunion.

To reinforce the claims that the split was amicable, Simpson has been keen to offer his wishes of luck towards the remaining Busted members for the upcoming reunion.
