MTV have announced that they will be starting a new channel in the run up to Christmas that is dedicated to the festive season.

MTV Xmas will take the place of what is currently MTV Classics on the 23rd November and will run right through until Christmas Day playing all the festive favourites.

Noddy Holder will present a countdown type show called “It’s Christmaaas” during the afternoon of the channel’s launch and many other famous faces have been billed as hosting their own themed shows including Little Mix, Olly Murs and Carol Vorderman.

MTV Xmas will air on Channel 356 on Sky and Channel 321 on Virgin Media from November 23rd.
