Mitch Winehouse, father of the late Amy Winehouse has revealed that he would never allow there to be a Hollywood biopic of Amy.

He made the admission whilst speaking at the annual Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball at London's Dorchester Hotel last night.

He also admitted that he has found it difficult to find the right way to pay tribute to his daughter.

"I don't really want to do a biopic, but there's a documentary film from the same people who did Senna coming out next year," he said.

"A concert would be amazing, but it's actually getting it together with the [record label]. It sounds great in theory, but in practice it's not so easy. We are talking about it though."

Mitch paid tribute to the host of famous faces who got involved at the event including Pixie Lott and Barbara Windsor.

"I'm emotional, but happy to be here and grateful for everyone who's come to support us," he said.

"It's just wonderful. Amy should be here, but under the circumstances I'm happy."
