US star Taylor Swift has revealed that has plans to move to the UK.

Swift has deep roots in the South of the US having grown up in Pennsylvania before moving to Nashville to pursue her music career but insists that she has no aversion to considering a move to the UK.

She told The Sun newspaper: "Anywhere I spend a considerable amount of time, I think about maybe getting a place.

"It would have to be the perfect place. I definitely love it over here, so I've always thought about what it would be like to be here more.”

Swift will be spending a lot of time in the UK over the coming months with her Red tour starting its UK leg in February which she revealed would be a contributing factor in the decision to buy a home here.

“I'm going to be here a lot, starting with shows in February at the O2 in London, then more and more," she said.

“I love the fans, I love talking to the people, I really do love everything.”
