Tulisa Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Offences

Tulisa appeared in court today to plead not guilty to supplying Class A drugs.
Tulisa was accused with crimes relating to the supply of Class A drugs after newspaper The Sun carried out an undercover investigation which resulted in an investigative journalist being supplied with drugs.
Tulisa also appeared alongside co-defendant Mike Coombs who also pleaded bot guilty to the crimes.
The case will now be passed on to Southwark Crown Court as it was deemed too serious to be heard at the magistrate’s court.
London Chief Crown Prosecutor Baljit Ubhey said: "The Crown Prosecution Service has today authorised the Metropolitan Police Service to charge Tulisa Contostavlos, 25, with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
"This charge relates to an investigation by The Sun newspaper between early March 2013 and 23 May 2013 which resulted in the supply of Class A drugs to an investigative journalist."
