One Direction’s Zayn Malik is said to be immersing himself in plans for his wedding to Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards and is hoping to book US rockers Journey to perform at the event.

Mailk reportedly wants to book the band for Edwards as their 1981 hit “Don’t Stop Believin’” is her favourite song.

The Sun newspaper reports that Malik is hopeful that the band will appear at the wedding in some capacity although frontman Steve Perry hasn’t performed with the band for some 17 years.

Journey’s guitarist Neal Schon has however reportedly expressed an interest in granting Malik’s request.
