Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” has been named the top selling single of 2013.

The song which also features Pharrell Williams and T.I. sold an incredible 1.47 million copies.

Pharrell was also celebrated a double victory having also being featured on the second biggest selling single of the year, “Get Lucky” with Daft Punk.

Pharrell said of his success: "I'm humbled by all of the love the UK fans have shown. But, when you are working with incredible talent like The Robots and Robin, great things are bound to happen."

Avicii completed the top three with his huge hit “Wake Me Up”.
