Rihanna has announced that she will be releasing a duet with Shakira, “Can’t Remember to Forget You”.

She made the announcement on Instagram with date “01.13.14”.

She also later posted "One. Week. Countdown."

Rihanna has proven a popular choice for collaborations recently with rapper Pitbull revealing that he originally wanted Rihanna to sing on his recent duet with Ke$ha, “Timber”.

"That is an ironic situation there. The person we were looking at first to work on that record was actually Rihanna, and Rihanna had something she had to do with Shakira, so she wasn't able to work on our record," he said.
