Lady Gaga hasn’t had the best of starts to the year with her latest album “ARTPOP” underperforming in the charts and the video for single “Do What U Want” being delayed several times but now she has also been nominated for an infamous Razzie Award.

The annual awards celebrates "the worst Hollywood has to offer each year" and Gaga has been nominated for her minor role in the film “Machete Kills” in which she played a shapeshifting assassin called La Chameleon.

Other female celebrities up for the award include Selena Gomez, Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian although the award is the least sought after accolade in Hollywood.

The winners of the Razzies will learn if they have the misfortune of adding the award to their collections on March 1st, the day before the Oscars.
