My Chemical Romance have released details of their greatest hits album entitled “May Death Never Stop You”.

The band announced their split back on 22 March 2013, much to the distress of their army of “emo” fans and the album is set to be released 24 March 2014, almost a year to the day they split.

The album will feature previously unreleased song “Fake Your Death” which is the last song that the band worked on together before they parted ways.

The artwork for the album was created by front man Gerard Way himself.

The band said of the album: "The title is fitting, because as sad as it was to say goodbye to the band, we look at this collection as a celebration of our best songs, and hope the memory of them continues to bring joy to you all as they have for us .

"We hope you take the journey with us into MCR's past, and enjoy the small taste of what might have been."
