A handwritten list of Kurt Cobain's favourite albums has been posted online.

The list contains 50 albums which the late Nirvana front man was influenced by and enjoyed listening to during his life.

Bands on the list include Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Public Enemy and Mudhoney, all of which can be attributed to influencing the sound of Nirvana and shaping Kurt into the person he was.

As well as including bands that show a degree of similarity to Nirvana such as Iggy and the Stooges which appear right at the top, some artists with more of a pop edge appear including Beach Boys and David Bowie.
