Taylor Swift was left red-faced at last night’s Grammy Awards after mistakenly thinking that she had won an award.

The singer and her entourage were seen celebrating when Alicia Keys announced that Daft Punk had won the award for the Album of the Year having thought that she had said that Swift’s own album “Red”.

She had rather unfortunately for her mistaken “Random Access Memory” for the name of her own album.

Once she realised her mistake, she was seen to be graciously conceding defeat.

Swift had been nominated for four awards at the ceremony but ended up going home empty handed.
