A new website has been set up with the aim of getting every song that has yet to be played on Spotify played at least once.

The site, named Forgotify claims that 20% of the songs on Spotify have yet to be played and describes this as a “musical travesty”.

When users enter the site, it selects a song at random from the selection of some 4 million songs that have never been played on the music streaming site.

Once you have listened to the song all the way through, it is given its first play and therefore taken off the list of never played songs.
