Miley Cyrus has claimed that she believes her upcoming “Bangerz” tour will be an educational experience for children.

She said in an interview: "Even though parents probably won't think this, I think my show is educational for kids. They're going to be exposed to art most people don't know about.

"I'm excited to take this tour to places where [art] like this wouldn't be accepted, where kids wouldn't learn about this different kind of art."

She went on to reveal plans to drop merchandise on the audience.

"I'll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table. My thing has never been about me making money. I did [that] when I was a kid."

Miley’s “Bangerz” tour starts in the UK in May.
