A pair of Nike trainers that were designed by Kanye West have gone on sale on auction site eBay and bidding is currently at a staggering £10 million.

The trainers dubbed “Air Yeezy 2” were designed by West as a follow-up to the commercially successful “Air Yeezy” collection which was released in 2009.

The Air Yeezy 2s have been delayed several times but finally went on sale yesterday when they were swiftly snapped up by eager fans.

Due to the limited quantity of the trainers, pairs almost immediately started showing up on eBay where prices quickly escalated from the £220 recommended retail price with the highest currently standing at the £10 million mark.

West has already called off his deal with Nike after the delay in getting the Air Yeezy 2s on the market but has now signed a deal with Adidas.
