Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she is not planning to return to the X Factor for another series.

The former Pussycat Doll has been a judge on the show for the last two years but has revealed that she would like to focus on working on and releasing new music.

Nicole has been working on new material for some time now and is reportedly ready to release her new album in the summer.

Nicole previously said: "In January I plan to finish my album and my focus will be on my music.

"I'm just living in the moment right now. I've really enjoyed my time here [but] I'm excited to focus on my music next year."

It has recently been announced that Simon Cowell will be returning to the UK version of the X Factor following the cancellation of the US version.
