Rihanna and Eminem have announced that they will teaming up later in the year to go on a mini tour together.

The pair recently collaborated on hit song “The Monster” as well as having previously recorded the track “Love the Way You Lie” but have now announced their intention to take the partnership one step further with three shows planned for the summer.

Details of the shows are sketchy at the moment but the three shows will be in New York, Los Angeles and Mathers' hometown Detroit but it is currently unclear what dates and venues they will take place in.

Eminem announced the news to his Twitter followers saying: “NYC/DET/LA this August with @Rihanna! #TheMonsterTour - http://xxlne.ws/1e0Ua9I”

Rihanna responded by tweeting: “@Eminem: NYC/DET/LA this August with @Rihanna! #TheMonsterTour - http://xxlne.ws/1e0Ua9I ” OH IM THERE!!!!!”

Eminem is currently touring Australia with Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.
