Organisers of Reading and Leeds Festivals have teased fans by revealing that they will soon be announcing a further two headlining acts rather than just one.

Arctic Monkeys and Blink 182 were announced as headliners last month and the new that there would be another two was released yesterday on the Facebook page of the festivals.

The post showed a picture of a hand holding four playing cards with three of them being kings and one of them a queen perhaps suggesting that one of the TBA acts might break tradition and be female.

The announcement is due to happen on Monday and organiser Melvin Benn has said that this year’s line-up is "unlike anything we've done before."

He continued: "I think it will surprise a lot of people. As ever for us, the line-up's a mix of where popular and alternative music has been, where it is now and where it's going next, across a real spread of genres."
