A man has allegedly filed a lawsuit after being injured whilst helping to construct Miley Cyrus’ tongue slide.

The prop is currently being used by Cyrus on her “Bangerz” tour and Charles Nicholas Sarris claims that he was hurt during its construction.

Now Sarris is apparently suing LA based equipment supply company ShowFx Inc who employed him to build the slide.

Sarris is claiming that he was injured when the tools that he was provided with failed and also that the company didn’t adequately warn him about the potential dangers that the job entailed.

He is claiming an unspecified amount in damages for his injuries.

Miley herself has been forced to defend her antics during the tour which have caused some controversy.

She tweeted: "I don't think people realise how much energy I put into my shows & how much their bad energy brings me down."
