YouTube Music Service Delayed
- in Latest
YouTube have long been rumoured to be launching their own paid for music service but now it has apparently been delayed due to design issues.
The service was originally meant to be launched last year but now it is likely that it could be late this year at the earliest.
Google, who own YouTube have already got all of the necessary agreements in place with record companies in order to use their artist’s music but are apparently now focusing their efforts on “getting it right”.
They are also apparently keen on starting out strongly in order to compete with their closest rival, Spotify.
It is rumoured that one of the features that are under consideration for the as yet unnamed platform is the ability to play music without official videos.
