James Arthur Dropped by Record Label

James Arthur has been dropped by his record label Syco after controversy surrounding a song on his rap mix tape.

The lyrics of several of the songs have been called into question because of their inappropriate content including the line "I'm gonna blow up your family like I'm a terrorist" in his mixtape “All the World’s a Stage”.

His track “Follow the Leader” was apparently the final straw for Syco because it included the lyrics: "Look at what you do to me, I'm crying over stupid s**t/ You're such a f**king homophobe, wish I'd never let you in/ To think that I was thinking maybe I should let you live/ I'm gonna blow up your family like I'm a terrorist."

James Arthur himself has not directly commented on the claims he has been sacked but did take to the social networking site to claims that the lyrics had been taken out of context.

He said: "The song 'follow the leader' from the mixtape is not promoting terrorism, it's a story, a reciting of a Stan Esc letter from a demented fan."
