Lady Gaga has revealed plans to release a new album “soon”.

She revealed that she has a second instalment of ARTPOP planned after writing much more material than could be fitted on the first edition.

"I wrote a lot of songs when I was creating ARTPOP," Gaga said.

"When I was done working on them I had a very specific idea of the concept for the first release of ARTPOP.

"But I do have a lot more records. But there's a strong possibility I will release another volume of ARTPOP and I'm really hoping that it's soon."

Gaga is due to start her ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour on May 4th in Florida.
