Miley Cyrus has been forced to cancel one of the gigs on her “Bangerz” tour a mere thirty minutes before she was due to go on stage.

The singer is currently on the North American leg of the tour which has caused widespread controversy.

Disappointed fans at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina were told only thirty minutes before Cyrus was due to grace the stage that she was unable to go ahead with the performance because she has a bout of flu.

Fans have been told that they will receive full refunds in the next few days.

Just yesterday Cyrus was complaining of being in “excruciating pain” to her Twitter followers.
