Jessie J Denies She is a Flop

Jessie J has spoken out about the poor performance of her second album and revealed that she doesn't think she is a flop.
Her second album “Alive” was released last September and peaked at number three in the UK album charts before quickly slipping out of the top 40.
The album did reach gold status which means that it has sold over 100,000 copies however and Jessie said that she doesn't take the poor performance personally at all.
“I'm very aware of how Alive sold, which is why right now I'm working on new music to be put out ASAP,' she told The Sun.
“I'm a businesswoman as well as an artist and I'm aware Alive didn't do as well as Who You Are, but that doesn't mean I'm a flop.
“It doesn't mean I'm not talented. It just means I have to re-evaluate what's going on in my life and what I can improve. It's funny that people tell me like I wouldn't see it.”
Jessie has plans to release an American version of “Alive” later in the year.
