Abba Hint at Possible Reunion
- in Latest
Björn Ulvaeus and Frida Lyngstad have hinted that there may still be hope for an Abba reunion.
It has previously been reported that the band have been offered up to a reported $1 billion to reunite since their split in 1982 but they have always declined in the past.
Frida has said that she would like to record another Abba record saying: "It's difficult to talk about this because then all the news stories will be: 'Abba is going to record another song'.
"But as long as we can sing and play, then why not? I would love to, but it's up to Björn and Benny [Andersson]."
Björn also seemed keen at the idea of a reunion saying: "Nothing's planned and it would have to be something very special. But yes, why not?"
"After we decided to go on a break - which was in '82 - I firmly believed that in a year or two we will fall into oblivion. I sincerely believed that!,"
