Research conducted by Blinkbox has uncovered the artists whose lyrics the British public find the most difficult to understand.

Ozzy Osbourne and Lady Gaga have both topped the poll with the British public saying that they find the lyrics to their music the most difficult to decipher.

Ozzy was at the top of the poll with 28% of the people asked saying that they couldn’t understand what he was saying and Gaga came second with 24%.

As well as identifying the most difficult artists to understand, the survey also found the songs that are most commonly misinterpreted.

Abba’s “Dancing Queen” received the most votes with 22% of people asked saying that they mistook the lyric "See that girl, watch that scene, diggin' the dancing queen" for "See that girl, watch her scream, kicking the dancing queen".
