A note that was found in the wallet of Kurt Cobain at the time of his death has been revealed to the public by Seattle police.

The note was written on note paper from the Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco and hints at matrimonial discord between Cobain and his wife Courtney Love.

The note mocks his wedding vows with it reading: “Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife. Even when she’s a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring.”

The note has been released as part of a re-investigation into the Nirvana front man’s suicide which happened 20 years ago.

Other items including new photos of the crime scene have also been released although the police department dismissed the photos as “underwhelming”.
