Hilary Duff has revealed that her duet with Ed Sheeran will be out soon.

Duff is currently working on her fifth album which will be her first since 2007.

She revealed in an interview with MTV that the song would be released “soon” saying: “I'm cutting an Ed Sheeran song next week, which I'm really excited about.”

She went on to talk about how the new album would sound saying that it would have an “earthy, indie-pop vibe”.

She wouldn’t reveal full details of all of the big names that have been working on the album with her but she did say: “I'm working with a lot of people. I'm still writing, so that process is still going on.

“It feels good to be in the studio. It feels good to be talking about my last few years - the high points and the low points.

“I really just want to be honest and be an open book for my fans to know where I've been and what I've been doing, how I feel and all that good stuff. So, I should have a single soon, and an album by the fall.”
