Apple are currently in talks to take over Beats Elecrtronics.

The deal could be worth a reported $3.2 billion (£1.9 billion) were it to go forward and could do so as early as next week.

The deal would be Apple’s biggest acquisition were it to go ahead.

Beats Electronics, who Apple are hoping to acquire was founded by Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine of Interscope-Geffen-A&M Records back in 2008.

They mainly produce various products but most prominently headphones under the Beats By Dre brand but have recently also started a Beats music streaming service in the US.
