Psy’s 2012 video for hit single Gangnam Style has retained its title of most watched video on YouTube and has now amassed an incredible 2 billion views.

The video made history back in 2012 by becoming the first video on YouTube to surpass a billion views.

Following its success on the video streaming website, the song quickly became a massive hit in the music charts.

In the US, the song peaked at number two and went on to spend 31 weeks in the Billboard top 100.

YouTube confirmed on their Twitter account that the video is the first ever to have achieved 2 billion views and it has also generated an incredibly 5 billion comments.
