Rihanna Organising Writing Camp
- in Latest
Rihanna is reportedly organising a “writing camp” in order to create new material for her new album.
According to The Sun, Rihanna is intent to fill her eighth studio album with songs with catchy lyrics and will be putting ten of her closest music publishing friends in London for ten days to focus on the project.
A source said: “They've already rented out the studio space and her manager Jay Brown will be overseeing the whole thing ' literally collecting songs to complete the album.
“She did the same in 2012 and people thought she was here for festival season but while she was out and about, her camp had writers working on songs in studios around the city. As soon as they hear something they like, they'll call her in and have her record it. That's why Unapologetic had a lot of British writers on its credits, Labrinth being one of them.”
The album has been tentatively penned for release later in the year.
