Rihanna has responded to TLC’s criticism of her choice of outfits.

T-Boz of TLC spoke about Rihanna in an interview on Australian TV and appealed to her to wear more clothes.

She said: "Every time I see you, you don't have to be naked.

"We sold and became the biggest girl-selling group of all-time with our clothes on, that says a lot," she added.

"It's easy to sell sex… we can go around with boobie cakes out all day long."

Rihanna has yet to directly comment on the accusations and instead opted to change her header photo on Twitter to an old picture of TLC in which they are posing topless.

She also changed her profile picture to one of Kanye West eating an ice cream which has become a well known internet meme for smug nonchalance.

TLC have yet to respond to Rihanna’s silent protest.
