Culture Club have insisted that their reunion is not about the money but rather about them finding out who they want to be.

The band have got back together to create new material which will be the first time they have done so since 1999.

They will also be embarking on a tour of the UK later in the year.

Boy George told The Mirror: "We've transcended our relationship I think... through time."

Jon Moss agreed and compared the band’s split to the breakdown of his marriage saying: "I get on with my ex very well now - it's the same thing.

"Most people should be friends with their ex-lovers. Unless something truly terrible has happened, you have to be friends eventually, otherwise it negates why you were together in the first place."

Moss recalled of darker times in the 80s where he and Boy George were involved in violent disputes together but insisted that it is all in the past and the reunion is to help heal old wounds.
