Jay-Z referenced the infamous lift incident with sister in law Solange Knowles during a performance at the BET Awards yesterday.

In the rap, he took a swing at gossip website TMZ who leaked a video of a bust up between the pair.

Jay-Z used the rap as an intro before wife Beyonce sang her hit song “Partition”.

Following the incident, the pair have showed that they are stronger than ever, releasing a joint statement that they have “moved on” since the incident.

Beyonce also managed to win big at the BET awards along with Pharrell Wiliams.
