Robin Thicke received a barrage of abuse over Twitter after a Q&A session went badly wrong.

VH1 hosted the session which led to a lot of comments relating to Thicke’s 2013 smash hit “Blurred Lines”.

Many of them referenced the fact that the song has been criticised for its sexist lyrics and turned it against Thicke himself.

One Twitter user tweeted: “There's no need to #AskThicke. You know he wants it.”

Another said: “#AskThicke Can I punch you in the face? No? You mean yes, right? You know you want it.”
