Kings of Leon is an American band which came into existence in the year 2000 from Tennessee. It is made up of four talented men including the three Followill brothers namely Jared (on the bass), Caleb (playing the rhythm guitar and the lead vocals as well), and Nathan (on drums). The 4th band member playing the lead guitar is Matthew Followill , the cousin of the three brothers.
"Radioactive" is the first single due out of the bakers dozen on Come Around Sundown, which will also be released as a deluxe edition featuring live songs recorded at the band's recent show at London's Hyde Park.
Their highly acclaimed fifth album 'Come Around Sundown' became their third consecutive album to debut at #1 when it topped the UK album charts last week on release, claiming both the biggest week one sales of the year & the biggest ever first week digital sales along the way.
Kings Of Leon have topped the UK and US album charts with their fifth album 'Come Around Sundown', beating Robbie Williams' greatest hits collection "In and Out Of Consciousness". The record-breaking album sold more than 183,000 copies including 49,000 downloads has become the most downloaded album this year so far, reported in the Sky News.
US rockers KOL will perform in five cities including Coventry, Sunderland, Manchester, London and Edinburgh. The band had played at London's Hyde Park last year in front of 65,000 fans, their biggest ever performance in UK.
Like last years Hyde Park show, the tickets sold out in seconds and these new shows are set to be one of the highlights of next year's live calendar. Tickets for London's Hyde Park go on sale from 9am on Wednesday 3rd November.
